Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of the National Electrical Code (NEC), local electrical codes, single-line diagrams, short-circuit requirements, and complex power distribution layouts.
Software Proficiency: Advanced skill with electrical estimating software (Accubid Classic/Anywhere, McCormick, ConEst, or similar) and digital takeoff tools (PlanSwift, Bluebeam, etc.).
Education / Field Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent field experience; Journeyman/Master Electrician license is a strong plus.
Soft Skills: Exceptional analytical thinking, negotiation skills, and clear communication under tight bid-day deadlines.
