Our client is a well-established Irish supplier to the electrical industry with over 40 years of experience serving wholesalers, retailers and hardware customers throughout Ireland. As a growing family-run business, they pride themselves on exceptional customer service, quality products and building long-term relationships with customers and suppliers alike.
Due to continued growth, they are seeking a proactive and adaptable Operations & Customer Support Executive to become an integral part of their small, collaborative team.
This is a varied role. You'll support the smooth running of the business, assist customers, coordinate office activities and provide hands-on support across operations and sales support required.
The Role
Working closely with the management team, you will become involved in many aspects of the business including administration, customer service, sales support, supplier coordination and operational support.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day administration of the office.
- Answer incoming customer calls and email enquiries professionally.
- Process customer orders and respond to product and delivery queries.
- Provide sales support to both internal and external sales teams.
- Build positive relationships with customers and suppliers.
- Coordinate with suppliers regarding deliveries, stock and purchasing requirements.
- Maintain accurate records within the company CRM system.
- Assist with scheduling deliveries and logistics where required.
- Support inventory administration and stock control.
- Help organise office systems and improve day-to-day processes.
- Assist in the warehouse and stores during busy periods, including checking deliveries, preparing orders and supporting the wider team.
- Provide general operational support across the business as required.
About You
You'll be someone who enjoys variety and is comfortable switching between customer service, administration and operational tasks throughout the day.
You'll ideally have:
- Previous experience in office administration, operations, customer service or sales support.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks.
- A proactive, can-do attitude.
- Confidence speaking with customers and suppliers.
- Strong IT skills including Microsoft Office.
- High attention to detail.
- The ability to work independently while also being a team player.
- A willingness to help wherever needed.
Experience within wholesale, distribution, construction, engineering or electrical products would be advantageous but is not essential.
