About the role:

 

The BW / SAC Tester is responsible for delivering high‑quality testing across SAP BW, SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), and integrated reporting and analytics environments. This role aligns with JRS 7 expectations, requiring strong domain knowledge in data, reporting, and analytics testing, as well as the ability to work autonomously while influencing quality outcomes. The BW / SAC Tester validates data flows, reporting outputs, dashboard functionality, and end‑to‑end analytics processes to ensure accuracy, completeness, and alignment with business requirements.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Strong experience in testing SAP BW, SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), or similar data warehousing and reporting platforms
• Experience validating data transformations, data models, and reporting outputs using structured test approaches
• Proficiency in data reconciliation, query validation, dashboard testing, and analytics scenario testing
• Strong understanding of ETL concepts, data pipelines, and reporting architectures
• Proficiency with test management and defect tracking tools
• Working knowledge of SQL or other query languages to support data validation activities
• Experience creating detailed test cases, acceptance criteria, and data‑driven test scenarios
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills in complex data and reporting environments
• Experience working in agile delivery environments
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Required Australian Citizenship and Mandatory AGSVA Baseline Security Clearance
• NV1 Clearance is preferred

• Ability to influence outcomes across multi‑vendor, cross‑functional analytics delivery environments
• Strong relationship‑building skills with the ability to work autonomously in client environments
• Proactive, outcomes‑driven approach with a focus on continuous improvement and quality advisory
