Facilities Maintenance Mechanic Key Responsibilities:
Operate motorized lift equipment as needed (e.g., forklift, scissor lift, boom/aerial lift).
Work from ladders, scaffolds, and roofs when required.
Provide occasional after-hours support (evenings/weekends).
Perform other duties as assigned.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements
This role includes work in a variety of interior and exterior conditions. Appropriate PPE is required. Must be able to frequently: bend, reach, lift, climb stairs/ladders, work at heights, stand/walk for extended periods, work in tight/confined spaces, grasp tools/parts, crouch, and crawl.
- Maintain the facility and equipment at a high level of operational readiness, safety, and comfort.
- Provide responsive, professional support to internal teams for maintenance needs and work orders.
- Perform preventive, corrective, and general maintenance on:
- Building systems (electrical, mechanical/HVAC, plumbing, structural/finishes)
- Facility-related safety equipment
- Ground support equipment, tools, and company-owned tooling/equipment
- Exterior areas as assigned (including the parking lot)
- Communicate directly with internal and external team members.
- Coordinate and support vendors/contractors as needed.
- Build strong working relationships across all levels of the organization and with site stakeholders (including tenants/sub-tenants and local contacts, as applicable).
- 5–8 years of experience (or equivalent training and demonstrated performance) in commercial/industrial building maintenance, including exposure to several of the following:
- Vehicle/equipment maintenance (including ground support equipment or similar)
- Diesel/Gas/Propane engine repair
- Electrical diagnostics and repair
- Maintenance/repair of equipment such as forklifts, tow tractors, boom lifts, scissor lifts, golf carts
- Hydraulic system maintenance
- Industrial equipment systems maintenance and troubleshooting experience
- Experience with:
- Aircraft 400Hz generator (GPU) repairs
- Solid-state GPUs, transformers
- Hot work including welding/soldering
