We are currently partnering with a leading organisation to recruit an HR Onboarding Specialist to join a busy and collaborative HR team. The Role
As an HR Onboarding Specialist, you will play a key role in supporting the full onboarding journey for new employees while assisting with a range of HR administration and recruitment activities. Working closely with hiring managers and the wider HR team, you will help ensure a seamless and engaging onboarding experience for all new starters.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and deliver an efficient onboarding process, including new starter inductions.
- Act as the main point of contact for new hires throughout their onboarding journey.
- Keep hiring managers informed on onboarding progress and provide regular updates.
- Identify opportunities to improve onboarding processes and the overall employee experience.
- Build strong working relationships with hiring managers and key stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate employee records and personnel files.
- Provide administrative support across recruitment activities, including posting job advertisements, screening CVs, scheduling interviews and coordinating recruitment campaigns.
- Update and maintain the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
- Manage shared HR inboxes and respond to employee queries.
- Conduct employment reference checks.
- Prepare and issue contracts of employment.
- Support wider HR initiatives, including employee engagement and wellbeing activities.
About You
- Degree in HR/ Business or relevant experience
- Previous experience in an HR Administration, HR Coordinator or HR Onboarding role is desirable.
- Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to communicate confidently at all levels.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks.
- Proactive, adaptable and able to work on your own initiative.
- Experience using an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) would be an advantage.
