Job Location: Beloit, WI
 
Pay and Hours for Job + Benefits: $21.50hr

JOB SUMMARY
We are looking for Quality Assurance Technicians to join a food production facility in the snack division. This is a temporary position responsible for checking food products throughout the production process to make sure they meet company quality, food safety, and production standards.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Inspect food products for weight, size, color, moisture, pH, ingredients, and overall quality. 
  • Test raw materials, products during production, and finished products. 
  • Accurately document all testing and inspection results. 
  • Check packages for proper filling, sealing, labeling, and code dates. 
  • Inspect finished products for breakage and other quality issues. 
  • Use testing equipment and assist with equipment validation and calibration. 
  • Report quality or food safety issues to Production and QA Supervisors. 
  • Help identify products that do not meet specifications and determine when products should be placed on hold. 
  • Monitor metal detector validation and verification. 
  • Audit allergen paperwork and production forms. 
  • Follow Food Safety and Food Quality Plans. 
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area. 
  • Follow all safety, hygiene, and chemical-handling procedures. 
  • Communicate effectively with production employees and supervisors. 
IDEAL CANDIDATE
  • Detail-oriented and organized. 
  • Comfortable working in a food manufacturing environment. 
  • Able to perform measurements and quality testing. 
  • Able to accurately complete paperwork and documentation. 
  • Understands the importance of food safety and sanitation. 
  • Able to identify and report quality issues. 
  • Reliable and willing to work mandatory overtime and Saturdays. 
  • Able to work 100% onsite in Beloit, WI. 
Important: This is a TEMPORARY Quality Assurance Technician position. The role involves hands-on product inspection, testing, documentation, and monitoring of food safety and quality throughout production.
2 TEMPORARY OPENINGS AVAILABLE
 1 – 2nd Shift | 1 – 3rd Shift
 $21.50/hour + Shift Differential + Mandatory Overtime
