We have a contract-to-Hire Leave Specialist position.

We are open to candidates based in our Philadelphia, Washington DC, Chicago, Houston, or Dallas offices.  The role will be hybrid, with two days per week in the office.

We are looking for someone with:

• 3–5+ years of leave experience, full-cycle, in-house leave administration experience. We are looking for someone who has managed the leave process internally rather than working in a fully outsourced leave model.
• Experience managing a high volume of leave cases, approximately 40–50 active cases.
• Experience working directly with employees across various employment statuses and circumstances.
• Strong understanding of FMLA and multi-state leave laws.
• Working knowledge of California, New York, and Washington, DC leave laws are highly preferred.
• General Excel experience, including filtering, pulling survey information from shared files, and maintaining personal leave reports.
• Strong employee/customer service and relationship-management skills. This person will serve as a concierge to our employees and will work directly with people during some of the most challenging and sensitive times.
• The ability to communicate difficult information with empathy, professionalism, and confidence while ensuring employees understand their leave options and responsibilities.
• This is a role that requires someone who is comfortable balancing the technical/compliance side of leave administration with a strong people-focused approach.
