Senior Accountant | Perth | Public Practice

Our client is a long standing Perth practice with a solid reputation in the local market, built over years of doing right by their clients. You'll get exposure to some properly complex client groups, not just standard SME compliance work, alongside private clients and family groups across a real mix of industries.

What you'll be doing

• Managing your own portfolio, financial statements and tax compliance end to end
• Building relationships with clients directly rather than through three layers of hand offs
• Picking up more advisory conversations as those relationships grow, not just churning compliance work
• Reviewing and mentoring junior accountants
• Working closely with partners on the trickier client matters

What we're looking for

• CA or CPA qualified, or close to finishing
• Solid public practice experience across financial statements and tax
• Comfortable running your own client portfolio without much oversight
• Keen to build advisory skills, not just stick to compliance
• Good communicator who enjoys the client facing side of the job
