Funeral Services Manager (Multi-Site)

MAYDAY Recruitment is proud to partner with a well-established and highly respected funeral services provider seeking a compassionate and commercially minded Location Manager to lead five community-focused funeral locations across the NSW region.

This is an exciting opportunity to oversee multiple locations, combining operational leadership, commercial accountability and strong community engagement. You'll play a key role in supporting your teams, building local relationships and ensuring families receive exceptional care during life's most difficult moments.

About the Role

As the Location Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operations across five funeral locations: Mayfield, Toronto, Salamander Bay, Charlestown and Belmont.

This is a hands-on leadership role where no two days are the same. You'll be responsible for supporting and developing your teams, ensuring operational excellence across each location and maintaining consistently high standards of service and care.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Leading, coaching and developing teams across five locations.
• Managing the operational and commercial performance of each location.
• Monitoring financial performance, including P&L management and achieving business objectives.
• Building strong relationships with local community groups, aged care providers, RSLs, healthcare professionals and referral partners.
• Driving local marketing and community engagement initiatives to strengthen each location's presence.
• Ensuring exceptional customer service and consistently high standards of care.
• Managing resources effectively across multiple sites while fostering a positive, collaborative culture.
• Providing hands-on support to your teams and stepping into operational activities when required.

About You

We welcome applications from leaders within retail, hospitality, healthcare, aged care, funeral services or other customer-focused industries. Funeral industry experience is advantageous but not essential—we're looking for someone with strong leadership capability, commercial acumen and a genuine passion for supporting local communities.

You will bring:

• Proven experience managing multiple sites or leading operational teams.
• Strong commercial acumen, including experience managing budgets and interpreting P&L reports.
• Demonstrated ability to coach, develop and lead high-performing teams.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to balance competing priorities across multiple locations.
• A collaborative leadership style with the confidence to make decisions and solve problems.
• Experience building strong relationships within local communities and developing business partnerships.
• A current unrestricted driver's licence and the ability to travel between locations as required.
