Reporting to the EGM People, this is a senior leadership opportunity responsible for leading the recruitment function and delivering end-to-end talent acquisition strategies across a diverse and growing workforce. You will lead a team of recruitment professionals while partnering closely with senior leaders and the broader People & Culture function to build capability, strengthen talent pipelines and support current and future workforce requirements.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead, develop and manage the recruitment team, building capability across sourcing, assessment, stakeholder management and recruitment best practice.
  • Develop and continuously improve end-to-end recruitment frameworks, processes, tools and governance to support efficient and compliant hiring.
  • Develop targeted sourcing strategies and build proactive talent pipelines across operational, technical, professional and leadership roles, including critical and hard-to-fill positions.
  • Partner with hiring managers and senior leaders to provide expert advice on role design, candidate attraction, assessment and selection.
  • Lead employer brand and candidate experience initiatives across careers platforms, recruitment marketing and talent channels.
  • Own alternative talent pathways, including graduate, apprenticeship, new-to-industry, global mobility and talent community programs.
  • Oversee end-to-end mobilisation for new starters and transferring employees, while partnering with remuneration specialists on salary positioning, offers and negotiations.
  • Lead recruitment reporting and analytics, using insights across pipeline health, time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, offer acceptance and quality-of-hire to inform decisions.
  • Ensure recruitment practices align with employment legislation, work rights requirements and organisational governance, while driving diversity, equity and inclusion across the recruitment lifecycle.

About You

You will have:

  • Demonstrated experience leading a recruitment team or function in a complex, multi-site or high-volume environment.
  • Strong end-to-end recruitment experience across operational, technical, professional and leadership roles.
  • Proven capability in developing recruitment strategies, sourcing models, frameworks and processes.
  • Strong direct sourcing and talent attraction capability across LinkedIn, digital channels, job boards, talent pools and agency partnerships.
  • Experience partnering with senior leaders and hiring managers as a trusted recruitment advisor, with strong stakeholder and influencing skills.
  • Strong knowledge of ATS and recruitment technology, with the ability to use data and reporting to improve outcomes.
  • Experience in employer branding, candidate experience and alternative talent pathways such as graduate, apprenticeship, new-to-industry or global mobility programs.
  • Experience overseeing mobilisation processes, with a strong understanding of Australian employment legislation, work rights and compliant recruitment practices.
  • Experience within the resources, mining, energy, logistics or infrastructure sectors will be highly regarded.

Why This Role

This is an opportunity to take ownership of a broad talent acquisition function within a high-performing mining services environment, with genuine influence across workforce planning, recruitment strategy and the broader People & Culture agenda.

You’ll have the opportunity to lead and develop a recruitment team, shape recruitment frameworks and employer brand initiatives, and build talent pathways that support the organisation’s workforce for the future. The organisation places a strong emphasis on teamwork, accountability, innovation, integrity and creating an inclusive workplace where people can develop and build long-term careers.
