Interior Designers

An exciting opportunity to join a reputable design & construction practice located in the heart of Brisbane's CBD. This client prides themselves on a leading reputation for design & delivery values and are experts within the commercial office fit out space from the small to large scale projects.

Due to the continued success and growth of the company, this opportunity exists for a strong Mid-level or Senior Interior Designer to join their in-house design team. This opportunity offers long term career progression and an attractive salary (dependent on experience a capabilities).

The Role 
 This opportunity offers long term career progression for strong Mid–Level or Senior Interior Designers to take part in projects from concept through to documentation, getting exposure to client meetings, site visits and the internal delivery team. You’ll play a key role in helping shape workplace environments, balancing creativity with technical delivery, and ensuring projects are well-coordinated and buildable.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the design team to develop creative concepts for workplace projects.
• Take part in prepare initial space planning and floorplans
• Develop look & feel concepts, including finishes, materials, and mood boards
• Produce and coordinate a full set of design documentation for construction
• Collaborate with internal project and delivery teams
• Manage multiple projects across commercial fitout sectors with team
• Contribute across all project phases from concept to completion

To be considered:

• Minimum 4 years’ professional studio experience - commercial workplace preferred but not required
• Proficiency in ArchiCAD (other softwares highly regarded)
• Continuously stay updated with industry trends and best practices to deliver innovative design solutions
• Can demonstrate strong creative intuition and spatial understanding through portfolio
