Join your local Council as a Infrastructure Engineer. Local Government offer 35 hours per week, flexible start and finish times, and stability in contract roles with potential for extension or transition into a permanent role.
ABOUT THE POSITION.
As an Infrastructure Engineer you will assess and process infrastructure and driveway applications, review applications and undertake site inspections, assist with capital works prioritisation and planning, to support asset management activities and data accuracy.
DUTIES.
- Manage and assess Council driveway applications
- Liaise with internal and external Stakeholders including developers and residents
- Conduct on-site inspections where required
- Ensure compliance aligns with Councils regulations and codes
- Degree in Civil Engineering or relevant qualifications
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Reliable, punctual and dedicated individual
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with high attention to detail
