Financial Analyst- Hybrid- NYC

Yoh has an immediate, 7 month contract opportunity, as a Financial Analyst within the Entertainment & Music industry to join our client, Hybrid, to report to their office in New York, NY

• $35/hr. max hourly rate
• 40 hours a week, Monday-Friday, OT as necessary
• 4 days a week OnSite, non negotiable
• Advanced Excel is a must

* Applicants must currently reside within commuting distance of our NYC office and be able to reliably attend onsite as required*
**Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship. Due to the client-site nature of this role, we are unable to support OPT or STEM OPT employment, including completion of Form I-983**

In this role, you will be providing day-to-day and month-end operational support

What You Will Be Doing

• Support month-end close activities, including preparation of journal entries and general ledger review.
• Assist with financial reporting, consolidations, and reporting package preparation.
• Perform ad hoc financial analysis and support ongoing business initiatives.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and accurate financial information.
• Support invoicing, collections, and invoice payment processing.
• Assist with various accounting and finance projects as needed.

Who You Are

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• 2+ years of business experience in accounting or financial analysis role (entertainment / music industry experience a plus, with an interest in music being ideal) and working knowledge of GAAP
• 2+ years relevant experience preparing invoices
• Excellent analytical, verbal and written communication as well as interpersonal skills
• Heavy Excel based position, advanced Excel skills are a must
• Proficiency with other MS applications
• Well organized, detail oriented and proactive with ability to work under pressure, manage multiple projects and priorities, meet deadlines and achieve effective results in a fast-paced team-oriented environment 
• Person should be proactive, well organized, detail oriented and creative thinker that is comfortable with autonomy and self-learning
• SAP experience preferred
