About the Role
- Plan, deliver, and assess engaging English lessons aligned with the Victorian Curriculum
- Take a lead pastoral role as a Homeroom Teacher – supporting wellbeing, attendance, and learning
- Build strong, respectful relationships with students, families, and colleagues
- Embed literacy, reading, writing, speaking and listening across the learning program
- Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners
- Use assessment data to inform teaching and provide meaningful feedback
- Contribute to co-curricular activities, camps, and school events
- Current VIT registration (essential)
- Bachelor of Education or equivalent qualification with an English method
- A genuine love of literature, language, and student-centred learning
- Strong pastoral care skills and a warm, positive presence
- Excellent communication, organisation, and classroom management
