About the role
The Accounts Payable Officer will be responsible for managing the accounts payable process, ensuring accurate and timely payments to suppliers, and maintaining financial records. This temporary position is expected to last for 1-2 months.
Key responsibilities
- Process invoices and ensure proper approval is obtained
- Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies
- Maintain accurate records of all transactions
- Assist in month-end closing activities related to accounts payable
- Provide support during audits as required.
Skills & experience
- Proven experience in accounts payable or a similar finance role
- Strong capability in financial record keeping and reconciliation
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
