Flu Clinical Manager (MA or LVN)

Flu Clinical Manger needed for a temporary contract opportunity with Yoh’s medical clinic partners located in San Jose, California. 

This position is supporting the flu clinic for a well-known medical center’s Employee Health Department. Anticipating starting the week of August 17th or August 24th and is expected to run about 3 months (through the end of October or November – potential for extension). Main responsibilities include overseeing and coordinating all staff assigned to the flu clinic, driving clinical operations efficiently, managing employee flow, customer service, and assisting with overall clinic logistics.
Top Skills You Should Possess:

• Highly prefer experience as a Licensed Vocational Nurse and/or a Medical Assistant, accompanied with management experience; at minimum, strong non-clinical candidates with hospital or healthcare management experience
• Positive attitude, excellent customer service skills, and must be a team player that’s great at multi-tasking
• Looking for a responsible, friendly, and helpful employee
• Prior experience working in a flu clinic

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Overseeing and coordinating all staff assigned to the flu clinic
• Ensuring clinic operations run efficiently and smoothly during flu events
• Managing employee flow and addressing operational bottlenecks to prevent delays
• Serving as the primary onsite leader and point of contact for clinic staff
• Providing excellent customer service and maintaining a welcoming, professional environment for employees receiving flu vaccinations
• Assisting with overall clinic logistics and ensuring a positive employee experience

What You Need to Bring to the Table:

• Management experience/lead position experience 
• Current BLS/CPR through AHA
• (2) step TB (1 w/n last 2 years and 1 w/n last 90 days or QuantiFERON Gold)
• Yearly physical
• Current Flu vaccine
• Proof of immunization/titer records for MMR & Varicella
