Software Engineer

A Global Insurance and mobile service support is  looking for a Software Engineer (Application Development) responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining complex AI-Native software applications and systems using the Cursor AI / Claude Code. This role involves leading technical solutions, mentoring junior engineers, and ensuring high-quality code delivery aligned with business requirements and best practices.

Responsibilities:
- Design and implement scalable, efficient, and secure software solutions
- Lead code reviews and enforce coding standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements and architecture
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues
- Optimize application performance and ensure system reliability
- Mentor and guide junior engineers, providing technical leadership
- Lead small technical teams or project modules
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in development processes and tools

Required Skills:
- 5+ years of professional software development experience
- Proven track record of delivering complex projects in a highly agile environment
- RUST programming experience mandatory
- Skilled in 1 or more programming languages (e.g., RUST, TypeScript, Java, Python, or equivalent).
- Strong understanding of software architecture and design patterns
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Experience with AI coding platforms like Cursor AI or Claude Code.
- Experience with integration with Generative AI APIs (ChatGPT, Gemini or MCP servers etc.)
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
- Familiarity with relational and NoSQL databases
- Expertise in API design and integration
- Solid understanding of security best practices in software development

Working Hours: 9:00 - 17:30 (Mon-Fri)
Working Style: Hybrid (3 day remote work per week)
