The Role
Our client is seeking a Psychologist to join their Allied Health and Community team, supporting individuals through their Therapy and Behaviour Support Service.
This role offers the opportunity to step into a position that blends clinical work with professional development and leadership exposure, supporting both clients and the wider team.
Key responsibilities include:- Delivering psychological assessment and intervention for children, adults and individuals with disability
- Supporting NDIS participants, including diagnostic assessments and early intervention
- Building capacity for individuals, families and support networks
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams across the region
- Contributing to professional development, supervision and service improvement initiatives
Requirements
- Current AHPRA registration as a Psychologist
- Board Approved Supervisor
- Experience in paediatric assessment and therapy, particularly with NDIS participants
- Understanding of early intervention approaches for children (0–8 years)
- Experience supporting adults with disability across varied settings
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage a range of stakeholders
- Commitment to evidence-based practice and ongoing professional development
- Understanding of confidentiality, WHS and culturally safe practice
