Exciting Opportunity for Customer Engagement Specialist in Melbourne

Are you passionate about building strong client relationships and driving impactful engagement strategies within the Financial Services Industry?

We are seeking a dynamic Customer Engagement Specialist to join our client's team on a 12-month contract with the potential for extension.

You will play a key role in shaping meaningful connections with clients, colleagues, and industry partners while supporting innovative initiatives across banking and insurance sectors.

What You Will Do:

• Collaborate with sales teams to develop and implement strategic engagement plans for key accounts within the Financial Services Industry.
• Organise and manage impactful industry events, client roundtables, and networking activities, ensuring smooth logistics and stakeholder coordination.
• Work closely with marketing and subject matter experts to craft compelling messaging and targeted campaigns tailored to the Financial Services Market.
• Lead internal communication activities such as town halls, newsletters, and social media to foster a connected and informed team.
• Prepare executive-level presentations and client engagement materials that effectively communicate value propositions and support sales efforts.
• Provide sales enablement tools and reusable assets to enhance client conversations and drive deal progression.

Required Skills:

• Experience in customer engagement, marketing, event management or a similar role within Financial Services, especially banking or insurance.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, stakeholder-intensive environment.
• Strong project management, communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Ability to create engaging content and campaigns across multiple channels.
• Knowledge of industry-specific client engagement tools and CRM systems.
• Proficiency in digital platforms and social media management.
• Demonstrated success in organising large scale events or industry forums.
• Strong experience in customer engagement or marketing roles within Financial Services.

Other Requirements:

• Based in Melbourne with the ability to attend meetings and events as required.
• Willingness to travel occasionally for client or industry events.
• Competence with Microsoft Office Suite and social media platforms.
