$35–$40 per hour casual | $70,000–$85,000 per year permanent
Take ownership of material orders, warehouse stock and site deliveries in a busy construction environment.
Siteforce Recruitment is seeking a capable Warehouse & Materials Coordinator to keep materials moving from suppliers through to site. Your work will directly support construction teams by ensuring the right products arrive in the right quantities, when they’re needed.
This is a hands-on coordination role for someone who enjoys taking responsibility, building strong supplier relationships and solving problems before they affect progress on site.
About the role
You’ll manage the day-to-day warehouse and materials function, working closely with suppliers and site teams to understand requirements, place orders and coordinate deliveries. When quantities, products or schedules change, you’ll keep orders updated and everyone informed.
Your responsibilities will include:
-
Ordering building materials against site requirements and work schedules.
-
Confirming product details, quantities, availability and delivery timeframes.
-
Managing order amendments, cancellations, shortages and supplier follow-ups.
-
Coordinating deliveries with site teams to support planned works.
-
Checking incoming materials against orders and resolving missing or incorrect items.
-
Maintaining stock records and monitoring materials available in the warehouse.
-
Organising materials for dispatch and keeping the warehouse safe and accessible.
-
Identifying potential supply delays early and arranging practical solutions.
About you
You’re organised, dependable and comfortable managing several priorities at once. You follow through on orders, communicate clearly and understand how a missed delivery can affect an entire site team.
We’re looking for:
-
Experience in warehouse operations, materials coordination, purchasing or a similar role.
-
Strong attention to detail when checking orders, quantities and delivery information.
-
Confidence dealing with suppliers and coordinating with site personnel.
-
The ability to adapt quickly when site requirements change.
-
Good computer skills for maintaining orders and stock records.
-
Building materials experience and a Forklift Licence are highly regarded.
What’s on offer
-
Casual employment at $35–$40 per hour, with a clear pathway to permanent full-time.
-
Alternatively, permanent full-time employment at $70,000–$85,000 per year, depending on experience.
-
A role with responsibility across the warehouse and materials function.
-
The opportunity to contribute directly to the smooth delivery of construction projects.
