Pay: $90.00-$105.00/hr

Duration: 12-month contract

Schedule: Hybrid (Onsite Tuesday/Wednesday)




Our client is seeking a Senior Delivery Manager to support a large-scale Continuous Technology Modernization and Simplification (CTMS) program. This individual will lead the planning and execution of enterprise modernization initiatives across application, infrastructure, and AI enablement workstreams while ensuring alignment with business, technical, financial, and operational objectives.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end planning and execution of enterprise technology modernization initiatives.
• Coordinate cross-functional technical and business teams across application, infrastructure, and AI workstreams.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, timelines, and delivery plans.
• Facilitate due diligence, solution design, and technical planning sessions.
• Identify, manage, and mitigate project risks, issues, and cross-functional dependencies.
• Review and approve solution documentation to ensure quality and alignment with project objectives.
• Coordinate external vendors and managed service providers (MSPs), including oversight of Statements of Work (SOWs) and milestone-based deliverables.
• Communicate project status, risks, and opportunities to stakeholders and executive leadership.
• Support business case development and investment planning for modernization initiatives.
• Ensure consistent governance, project management standards, and delivery practices across all workstreams.
• Partner with Product Owners to understand business needs, prioritize work, and review user stories.
• Remove project roadblocks and enable teams to deliver successfully while promoting collaboration and self-organization.

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of project or program management experience leading complex technology initiatives.
• Strong experience managing end-to-end project delivery, including planning, execution, governance, and risk management.
• Demonstrated success delivering large-scale modernization programs involving:
  • Application rationalization
  • Cloud migration
  • Infrastructure modernization
  • Platform consolidation
  • System decommissioning
• Strong technical aptitude with the ability to collaborate effectively with architects, engineers, product managers, and subject matter experts.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for business stakeholders.
• Experience managing vendors and MSPs, including SOW execution and performance management.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple concurrent initiatives.
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to influence stakeholders and drive decision-making.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
• Agile certification such as PMI-ACP, Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), SAFe Agilist, or Leading SAFe.
• Cloud certifications (Microsoft Azure and/or AWS) preferred.
• Experience supporting enterprise digital transformation or technology modernization programs.
