Apply directMedical Center in the Mississippi Delta region is seeking an additional BC/BE General Surgeon to join its established employed team within a comprehensive acute care hospital dedicated to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care close to home.
- Clinic Hours: 8a-5p M-F
- Schedule: 36 patient care hours 4 admin; Clinic two full days, designated clinic/surgery days
- Call: 1:3, 5 days/mo built into contract – opportunity to pick up additional call/pay
- Average # of patients seen per day: 20-25 patients per day (when ramped)
- Hospital-employment
- Joining 2 General Surgeons (1 full-time, 1 part-time, 1 one weekend/month)
- Bread & Butter procedures
- No robotics
- Scopes required
- Covering one hospital only with all surgeries and scopes done at the hospital
- No trauma
- Hospitalist team for admissions
Recruitment Package may include:
- Base salary starts at $450K DOE + wRVU production incentive
- $5K CME allowance
