Apply directA thriving community health organization is seeking a Clinical Informatics Lead to join its growing team in Central Massachusetts. This unique hybrid opportunity combines primary care with clinical informatics leadership, offering an ideal role for a Family Medicine Nurse Practitioner who enjoys patient care, technology, workflow improvement and provider education.
Position Highlights:
- Hybrid role: 40% direct primary care + 50% clinical informatics + 10% clinical administration
- Serve as a PCP caring for patients across the full age spectrum, from pediatrics through geriatrics
- Provide preventive, acute and chronic care, including uncomplicated prenatal/postnatal services
- Collaborate with physicians and other members of the clinical care team
- Serve as the clinical EMR liaison between IT and medical providers
- Lead provider onboarding and initial EMR training
- Train providers on new EMR features, workflows and upgrades
- Provide one-on-one retraining and ongoing EMR competency development
- Help design, improve and re-engineer clinical workflows
- Participate in EMR upgrades and organizational implementation projects
- Help lead the organization's transition to Epic, including training providers on the new system
- Create training materials for current and future clinical team members
- Opportunity to combine clinical practice with meaningful technology and physician/provider leadership
Qualifications:
- Licensed Family Nurse Practitioner
- Massachusetts medical license
- Certified and willing to clinically treat all ages, from pediatric to geriatric
- Minimum 2 years of primary care or related clinical experience
- Minimum 2 years of experience using an EMR, such as Epic, MediTech, eClinicalWorks or NextGen
- Strong communication, teaching and organizational skills
- Interest in clinical informatics, workflow optimization and provider education
Compensation & Benefits:
- $115K–$135K salary
