Role Overview
Reporting into the leadership team, you will coordinate the day-to-day delivery of Work Health & Safety and Injury Management activities across the organisation. You will oversee compliance, injury management, workers compensation and Return to Work processes while providing practical advice and support to managers, employees and volunteers.
This role will also continue several key WHS projects, including emergency management planning, WHS documentation updates, training coordination, compliance monitoring and the review of organisational safety systems.

You are organised, self-motivated and capable of managing multiple priorities while building positive relationships across a geographically dispersed workforce. Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and maintain the organisation's WHS and Injury Management systems.
- Monitor compliance with WHS legislation, policies and procedures.
- Manage workplace incidents, investigations, hazards and corrective actions.
- Coordinate workers compensation claims and Return to Work programs.
- Deliver and monitor the annual WHS training plan and compliance schedule.
- Review and update WHS documentation, Safe Operating Procedures and emergency management plans.
- Coordinate workplace inspections, audits and risk assessments.
- Maintain plant and asset registers and oversee contractor compliance.
- Facilitate WHS Committee meetings and consultation activities.
- Prepare WHS reports, safety communications and performance data.
- Provide practical WHS advice and support to managers, employees and volunteers.
- Drive continuous improvement across WHS systems and processes.
- Demonstrated experience in a Work Health & Safety and/or Injury Management role.
- Strong understanding of the Work Health and Safety Act and contemporary WHS practices.
- Experience managing workplace incidents, investigations, risk assessments and injury management.
- Knowledge of workers compensation and Return to Work processes.
- Experience coordinating WHS training and compliance programs.
- Excellent organisational, communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Ability to work independently across a multi-site environment.
- Strong computer skills with experience using Learning Management Systems and electronic incident management systems (experience with Litmos and Donesafe will be highly regarded).
- Qualifications in Work Health & Safety or a related discipline are desirable.
- Current South Australian Driver's Licence with the ability to travel to metropolitan and regional sites as required.
