The Opportunity
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Legal Assistant to join a busy Dispute Resolution & Litigation team. Supporting a group of experienced lawyers, this role will suit a proactive and organised Legal Assistant who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and taking ownership of their workload. You will provide support to approximately 4–5 lawyers while working closely with a broader team of legal professionals.
Key Responsibilities
- Diary and email management
- Preparing, formatting and amending legal documents and correspondence
- File management and matter administration
- Billing, timesheet management and monthly billing support
- Liaising with clients, barristers and external stakeholders
- Court filing and litigation-related administrative support
- General legal assistant support to a busy disputes practice
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have: Previous experience as a Legal Assistant, ideally within Litigation, Dispute Resolution or a similar practice area. Strong organisational and communication skills. The ability to manage competing priorities and work autonomously. A proactive, professional and team-focused approach. Excellent attention to detail and a strong client service mindset.
