About the opportunity
My client is building more consistent, trusted and transparent planning information, moving away from manual interpretation and spreadsheet-based reconstruction. You will join its digital team as the Business Analyst who connects business stakeholders with the developers building the dashboards and reports that make this possible. You will own requirements from the first workshop through to testing, go-live and adoption, so the dashboards delivered are the ones the business actually asked for.
The role

You will join its digital team as the Business Analyst who connects business stakeholders with the developers building the dashboards and reports that make this possible. You will own requirements from the first workshop through to testing, go-live and adoption, so the dashboards delivered are the ones the business actually asked for.
The role
- Lead stakeholder engagement to elicit, document and analyse dashboard and reporting needs
- Turn business objectives into clear requirements, user stories and acceptance criteria
- Work with developers so dashboards are built as agreed, and own requirements through to delivery
- Write test cases, facilitate UAT and use the feedback to refine solutions
- Support go-live, training, documentation and adoption of new dashboards
- Business analysis experience with Power BI (or similar) dashboards, including requirements gathering, user stories and dashboard specifications
- Skill working with stakeholders to define key metrics, KPIs and visualisation needs
- Excellent facilitation and communication, bridging business and technical teams
- Experience owning requirements through testing and UAT to delivery
- Based in Brisbane and able to be in the office 2 to 3 days a week (no fully remote or interstate applicants)
- Data modelling concepts, wireframing and prototyping, dashboard usability and accessibility, data governance and quality, JIRA.
- Hybrid working, with in office time for priority in person sessions
- Close collaboration between business stakeholders and technical teams
- Strong focus on data governance, compliance and quality
