Assignment Information: DHS/LA County-Los Angeles General Medical Center is currently in need of highly skilled
Registered Nurses (RNs) with a minimum of one (1) year of inpatient Psychiatric and Medical/Surgical nursing
experience as a Behavioral Health RN. RNs will be providing comprehensive care to patients with acute psychiatric
disorders, including mood disorders, psychosis, and substance use disorders in a locked psychiatric unit. RNs are
responsible for delivering direct patient care, including monitoring mental and physical status, administering medications,
supporting therapeutic interventions, and maintaining patient and unit safety through continuous observation and adherence
to security protocols.
Ensure that profiles are submitted only for RNs who are fully committed to working a per diem assignment.
Required certifications include active Registered Nurse license, AHA BLS, MAB or CPI, LA City Fire and Life Safety card
(must be LA City), and must complete the LA County Employee Health Clearance before assignment start date.
