  • Valid CDL Class A or B License (required)
  • Valid HAZMAT Endorsement (required)
  • Minimum 2+ years of commercial driving experience
  • Forklift certification and hands-on experience (Sit-down / Stand-up preferred)
  • Clean driving record
  • Experience handling hazardous materials safely
  • Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety compliance
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical labor
  • Combination of driving, warehouse, and outdoor work
  • Exposure to varying weather conditions
  • May involve handling chemicals or regulated materials
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
The CDL/HAZMAT Driver is responsible for the safe and timely transportation of hazardous and non-hazardous materials while also assisting with warehouse operations. This role requires hands-on involvement, including loading and unloading freight using a forklift and ensuring compliance with all DOT, OSHA, and company safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities
  • Safely operate commercial vehicles in compliance with DOT regulations
  • Transport hazardous materials in accordance with HAZMAT guidelines
  • Load and unload freight using forklifts and other material handling equipment
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and maintain logs
  • Secure cargo properly to prevent damage during transport
  • Verify shipping documents, manifests, and delivery accuracy
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of truck and work areas
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch, warehouse, and customers
  • Follow all cGMP, OSHA, and company safety procedures
  • Assist with general warehouse duties when needed
