Manuel Vertical Turret Lathe Operator

This full-time position operates machine shop equipment to produce parts according to drawing specifications, with a primary focus on operating a Manual Vertical Turret Lathe (VTL). The operator will work under the supervision of the Shop Supervisor and direction of the Machine Shop Group Leader to ensure parts are machined accurately and meet required specifications.

Responsibilities

  • Machines parts per drawing specifications

  • Maintain a clean work environment

  • Be familiar with all machine shop equipment

  • Other duties as assigned by the Shop Supervisor or other company management personnel

Qualifications and Skills

  • HS Graduate with trade school certificate/degree preferred

  • Prior machine shop experience

  • Vertical Turret Lathe

  • Bridgeport Mill

  • Manuel horizontal lathe

Benefits/Compensation

  • Full Time

  • Pay Rate is $24-29 per hour

  • 1st Shift

  • Weekly pay while employed through Career Concepts

  • Benefits available while employed through Career Concepts

  • Temp-To-Hire

  • Benefits after Probation period
