We're seeking a detail-oriented Data Analyst to join a high-performing team to support with a system migration you will be focused on improving the quality, accuracy, and integrity of business-critical data. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with data, solving problems, and identifying opportunities to improve information quality across systems. You'll work closely with a variety of stakeholders to ensure data is accurate, complete, and fit for purpose, supporting reporting, decision-making, and business performance. If you enjoy finding inconsistencies, investigating issues, and taking ownership of data quality outcomes, this could be an excellent next step in your career.
Ngā Mahi Matua | Key Responsibilities
- In this role, you will: Conduct data cleansing and validation activities across multiple datasets. Identify and resolve duplicate records, missing information, and data inconsistencies. Monitor data quality metrics and proactively address data gaps. Perform reconciliations and cross-system checks to ensure data accuracy. Support the maintenance of data standards and governance processes. Collaborate with stakeholders to encourage timely and accurate data capture. Assist with reporting and data extraction activities as required. Contribute to ongoing initiatives aimed at improving data quality and system usability.

- To be successful, you will bring: Previous experience working with data, reporting, administration, or data quality activities. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including data manipulation and validation. Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities. Strong problem-solving capabilities and an investigative mindset. The ability to work independently while building effective relationships across teams. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Experience with SQL, data querying tools, or large datasets would be advantageous but is not essential.
