The Opportunity

This is a unique graduate opportunity designed to provide hands-on experience across both our Commercial and Customer Success teams. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting our sales process by engaging with new leads while also helping existing customers maximise the value they receive from the Herdwatch platform.

As the first role of its kind within Herdwatch, it offers significant scope for learning, professional development, and long-term career progression. The successful candidate will gain exposure to multiple areas of the business, building a strong foundation for future opportunities within sales, customer success, account management, operations, or other commercial functions.

Key Responsibilities

Commercial Support

  • Engage with prospective customers and qualify inbound leads.
  • Support the sales team by scheduling demonstrations and appointments.
  • Work closely with Sales Representatives to ensure a smooth handover of qualified opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate customer and lead information within CRM systems.
  • Assist with commercial campaigns and customer engagement initiatives.

Customer Onboarding & Success

  • Support new customers during their onboarding journey.
  • Assist users in setting up and getting the most from the Herdwatch platform.
  • Provide guidance and training on product features and functionality.
  • Work collaboratively with Customer Success and Support teams to deliver an excellent customer experience.
  • Gather customer feedback and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.

Learning & Development

  • Gain exposure to multiple departments across the business.
  • Participate in training and development programmes.
  • Develop a strong understanding of farming practices, AgriTech solutions, and customer needs.
  • Contribute ideas and initiatives that support business growth and customer satisfaction.

Candidate Profile

We are looking for a motivated graduate who is eager to build a career within the agricultural technology sector.

Essential

  • Degree qualification in Agriculture, Agri Business, Business, Marketing, Rural Enterprise, Animal Science, or a related discipline.
  • Passion for agriculture and technology.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Positive, proactive, and customer-focused approach.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Full clean driving licence.

Desirable

  • Farming background or strong understanding of the agricultural industry.
  • Previous customer service, sales, or placement experience.
  • Experience using agricultural software or digital platforms.
  • Knowledge of CRM systems.
