Apply directFRS Recruitment, working closely with our client, are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join a well-established Irish main contractor delivering building projects across Dublin.
The successful candidate will take responsibility for a brand new project in West Dublin, scheduled to commence in the coming weeks. Valued at c. €20 million, the development is expected to run for around two years and will provide full project lifecycle involvement from commencement through to final handover.
The project will include a combination of civil works, structural construction, internal finishes and early-stage demolition activities. Working closely with senior management, commercial teams, consultants and site personnel, the successful candidate will play a key role in driving the project forward and ensuring successful delivery.
Responsibilities
- Lead the delivery of projects from commencement to completion.
- Manage programme, budget, quality and project performance.
- Coordinate site teams, subcontractors and design consultants.
- Work closely with commercial teams to achieve project objectives.
- Monitor progress and ensure key milestones are achieved.
- Chair project meetings and provide regular project updates.
- Review technical information and resolve project challenges.
- Ensure Health & Safety standards are maintained on site.
- Maintain quality standards throughout all phases of delivery.
- Support successful commissioning and project handover.
Requirements
- Third-level qualification in Construction Management, Engineering or similar.
- 7+ years' experience within a Project Management position.
- Strong main contractor experience on building projects.
- Proven delivery of residential, commercial or mixed-use developments.
- Experience managing projects through the full construction lifecycle.
- Strong programme management and organisational skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Irish/UK experience highly advantageous.
