About the Role
We are seeking a Traffic Operations Coordinator to join our growing traffic management team in Melbourne. This is a key operational role responsible for coordinating people, plant, and resources across multiple worksites to ensure the safe, compliant, and efficient delivery of traffic management services.
You’ll work closely with clients, supervisors, and field crews, playing a vital role in keeping projects running smoothly across construction, civil, infrastructure, utilities, and event works.

We are seeking a Traffic Operations Coordinator to join our growing traffic management team in Melbourne. This is a key operational role responsible for coordinating people, plant, and resources across multiple worksites to ensure the safe, compliant, and efficient delivery of traffic management services.
You’ll work closely with clients, supervisors, and field crews, playing a vital role in keeping projects running smoothly across construction, civil, infrastructure, utilities, and event works.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily and forward scheduling of traffic controllers, supervisors, and equipment
- Ensure Traffic Guidance Schemes (TGS) and MOA’s are implemented in line with permits and Victorian standards
- Liaise with clients, councils, and contractors regarding traffic management requirements
- Monitor live operations and respond to changes, incidents, or urgent requests
- Ensure compliance with WHS legislation, AS 1742, Austroads, and DoT Victoria requirements
- Maintain accurate scheduling, compliance, and operational records
- Support field teams with operational guidance and problem resolution
About You

Essential Requirements
- Previous experience in traffic management
- Strong knowledge of Victorian traffic management standards and compliance
- Current Driver Licence
- Construction Induction (White Card)
- Traffic Control / Traffic Management
Desirable
- Experience with scheduling or workforce management systems
- Experience working with construction, civil, infrastructure, or utility projects
- Knowledge of TGS's, MOA’s, permits, and stakeholder notifications
