Join a global SaaS leader's JAPAC Enterprise Marketing team as Digital Media Lead on a fixed-term contract covering parental leave.
This coach-and-player role owns regional paid media strategy and budget while getting hands-on with execution across channels like YouTube, Reddit, and DOOH. You'll coach a Digital Marketing Specialist, drive performance reporting, and partner closely with Digital Journey Strategy and Integrated Campaign teams. Ideal for a senior digital marketer who wants strategic ownership without stepping away from the tools.
What You’ll Do
Strategy & Budget
- Define and own the regional paid media strategy, aligning channel investment to business priorities and demand goals.
- Own and manage the paid media budget by channel, ensuring accurate pacing, forecasting, and return on investment.
- Partner closely with the Digital Journey Strategy team to connect paid media activity to the broader digital experience and journey.
- Identify opportunities and drive continuous improvements across paid media channels, including exploring new platforms and tactics to advance customer acquisition and engagement.
- Take a hands-on role in executing campaigns across select paid channels (e.g. Influ2, Reddit, YouTube, Sponsored, DOOH, etc.), providing both strategic oversight and direct in-platform execution where needed.
Digital Performance, Execution & Reporting
- Coach and support a Digital Marketing Specialist, providing guidance and helping them grow their skills and confidence across paid media execution
- Directly execute and optimise campaigns across assigned paid channels, maintaining quality and performance standards.
- Build and own regular performance reporting cadences, translating data into clear insights and actionable recommendations in partnership with Digital Analyst.
- Analyse campaign results to identify optimisation opportunities and implement improvements quickly.
Cross-functional Collaboration
- Work in close day-to-day partnership with the Digital Journey Strategy, Integrated Campaign, and global digital teams to align paid media activity to the wider digital experience.
- Build strong relationships with internal teams and external partners to foster seamless collaboration across the marketing function.
Operations & Ways of Working
- Identify and implement improvements to team processes, workflows, and tools to increase efficiency and consistency across the paid media function.
What's Required to Succeed

- Experience leading teams, with strong leadership, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities, with the ability to thrive in an agile environment and drive continuous improvements.
- At least 12 years’ experience in digital marketing, with a strong focus on paid media strategy and hands-on channel execution, preferably in a B2B or technology environment.
- Familiarity with AI tools and a curiosity to apply them for campaign ideation, content production, performance analysis, or improving ways of working
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools, such as Microsoft PowerBI, Microsoft Excel, and other relevant platforms.
- Proficient English, both written and spoken, with strong presentation skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate at all levels.
- Well-organised, able to prioritise tasks and handle time optimally.
