Role Overview
- Position Type: Full Time Permanent
- Position of Leadership: POL 3
- Start Date: Term 1, 2027 (January)
- Location: Melbourne's Western Suburbs
- Reports to: Principal
- Salary: $89,218 to $127,692 (inclusive of $9,629 POL allowance)
- Lead and coordinate the college's Catholic mission, identity and faith formation programs, fostering a vibrant and authentic faith community across the whole school
- Develop, implement and evaluate liturgical celebrations, prayer experiences, retreats and social justice initiatives that reflect the college's Gospel values and Catholic tradition
- Support and mentor staff in understanding and embodying the college's Catholic ethos, providing professional learning opportunities in faith and mission
- Collaborate with the Principal, Deputy Principal and leadership team to embed mission and Catholic identity across all aspects of college life including curriculum, pastoral care and community engagement
- Build and maintain strong relationships with the parish community, MACS and other Catholic organisations to strengthen the college's faith identity and outreach
- Lead student faith formation programs including House-based pastoral activities, social justice campaigns and community service initiatives
You're a qualified teacher who:
- Holds or is eligible to obtain Australian/NZ Citizenship, PR or valid work rights (Working Holiday Visa holders encouraged to apply)
- Holds or is eligible to obtain Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) Registration
- Has an updated resume and can provide at least two recent professional references
- Brings creativity and adaptability to lesson planning and delivery
- Maintains high expectations for student learning and wellbeing
