Job Overview:
Join us in a high-impact leadership role where safety, facilities, and site performance come together. As the Environmental Health and Safety Manager for our Campbellsville operation, you’ll help shape the next phase of growth for a manufacturing site that is expanding, adding talent, and playing an increasingly important role in the broader business. This is more than a compliance role. You’ll lead the programs, people, and practices that keep the site safe, compliant, and operationally strong — from OSHA, DOT, EPA, environmental permitting, sustainability initiatives, and safety metrics to facilities maintenance, contractor coordination, emergency readiness, equipment installations, relocations, and site improvement projects.
The right leader will be highly visible on the floor, trusted by employees, credible with site leadership, and confident creating buy-in around safety, environmental responsibility, operational discipline, and continuous improvement. You’ll partner closely with Manufacturing, Service, R&D, Warehouse, and other cross-functional teams to reduce risk, improve performance, support uptime, and strengthen a zero-incident culture.

Responsibilities:
- Lead facility operations, infrastructure maintenance, and daily building performance optimization
- Ensure full EHS and regulatory compliance (OSHA, DOT, EPA, state/local requirements).
- Drive a zero-incident culture through hazard identification, risk management, and safety leadership.
- Oversee maintenance programs, contractor coordination, and emergency response readiness.
- Manage facility projects including new construction, equipment installation, and relocations.
- Track, analyze, and report safety, maintenance, environmental, and downtime metrics.
- Partner cross-functionally with Manufacturing, Service, R&D, and Warehouse teams to support operations
- Promote continuous improvement, sustainability initiatives, quality standards, and 5S practices.
- Oversee all activities of the safety committee and other Environmental Health and Safety (EH&S) functions
- Lead, support, and develop a team of EHS and Maintenance employees in a collaborative, multiproduct manufacturing environment
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Sciences/Engineering, Occupational Safety, Life Safety, Industrial Hygiene, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of progressive EHS experience with an emphasis on safety, environmental health, and sustainability management within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- 3+ years of experience as an effective leader, motivator, and coach.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- 2+ years of experience using ERP, CMMS, EHS management, or similar business systems

- Results Driven: Owns safety outcomes, compliance standards, maintenance effectiveness, project execution, and measurable site improvement.
- Adaptability: Responds effectively to changing priorities in a fast-paced, multiproduct manufacturing environment while remaining visible and solution-focused.
Preferences:
- Safety and/or environmental professional certification preferred, such as ASP or CSP.
- Knowledge of mechanical systems, including HVAC, pneumatics, hydraulics, city water, natural gas, propane, refrigerant, and related piping, pumps, valves, tanks, and controls.
- Experience in electrical and mechanical equipment safety, systems and manufacturing processes.
