About the Opportunity
Fleet Controllers – AM & Night Shift | Chullora NSW
Ever thought about stepping into Fleet Control? Maybe you've worked as a driver, transport coordinator, allocator or within container operations and are ready for your next move.
Our client, a highly regarded transport and logistics operator, is growing and currently has two opportunities available at their Chullora depot:

• 1 x AM Shift – 6:00am–4:00pm
• 1 x PM/Night Shift – 6:00pm–4:00am

Experienced Fleet Controllers are encouraged to apply; however, our client is also willing to train and upskill the right person, particularly for the night shift.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily fleet and container movements
• Allocate jobs and manage driver schedules
• Coordinate import and export container movements
• Communicate with drivers, customers and depots
• Monitor collections and deliveries throughout the shift
• Manage delays and changing operational requirements
• Update transport systems and maintain accurate records
• Ensure safety, compliance and Chain of Responsibility requirements are maintained

About You
Previous Fleet Control experience is highly regarded, but we're also interested in candidates with transferable transport experience, including drivers, allocators, transport coordinators and operations staff.
Ideally, you will have:

• Experience within transport, logistics or fleet operations
• Container/wharf cartage knowledge – highly regarded
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Confidence dealing with drivers and customers
• Good knowledge of Sydney's transport network
• Good computer skills and ability to learn new systems
• Ability to remain organised in a fast-paced environment
• A reliable attitude and willingness to learn
