We are currently recruiting for a Sales Administrator to join a busy and supportive commercial team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, has excellent attention to detail, and is looking to develop their career within the manufacturing and engineering sector.

As a Sales Administrator, you will play an important role in supporting the sales function, working closely with Account Managers and other departments to ensure customers receive an excellent service from enquiry through to order completion. This position would suit someone who is organised, proactive, and confident communicating with both customers and colleagues.

What will you be doing?

As a Sales Administrator, your responsibilities will include:

  • Creating, reviewing, and processing customer orders using the company ERP system
  • Providing day-to-day administrative support to the sales team and Account Managers
  • Preparing and sending quotations, enquiries, and order confirmations
  • Maintaining accurate customer records and contact information
  • Liaising with customers to provide updates and support throughout the order process
  • Assisting with order tracking and ensuring deadlines are met
  • Supporting wider business projects and process improvements
  • Working alongside international customers and suppliers
  • Building strong working relationships across different departments
  • Using Microsoft Excel and other systems to manage and update information accurately

What are we looking for?

The ideal Sales Administrator will have:

  • Previous administration, customer service, or sales support experience
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Confidence using Microsoft Office, including Excel
  • The ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise workload effectively
  • A proactive and team-focused attitude
  • Experience using ERP systems would be advantageous but not essential
