The Opportunity
We are recruiting two Client Director / Senior Manager – Business Advisory roles for an experienced accounting professional who wants real influence, strong client relationships and a genuine pathway to Partnership.
Our client is a highly regarded boutique accounting and business advisory firm based in Sydney CBD, providing accounting, tax and strategic business advice to privately owned businesses, high-net-worth clients and growing enterprises.
They combine the technical expertise and quality of a larger accounting firm with the agility, accessibility and personalised service of a boutique practice.
With continued growth across the business, this is an opportunity to join a collaborative, high-performing firm where you'll work closely with Partners, lead a portfolio of high-quality clients and have genuine influence over the growth of the practice.
This is not a pure technical or compliance role. You'll be a trusted advisor to business owners and senior executives, working across their broader commercial needs while identifying opportunities to deepen relationships and grow the client portfolio.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Own and lead senior client relationships across a portfolio of privately owned businesses and high-net-worth clients
- Act as a trusted business advisory and accounting partner to business owners and senior executives
- Provide strategic advice across complex commercial and business matters
- Identify and convert opportunities to expand existing client relationships
- Develop new business through referrals, networks and proactive engagement
- Lead, mentor and develop senior accounting and advisory team members
- Work closely with Partners on client strategy, business development and growth initiatives
- Take responsibility for the quality, delivery and commercial performance of your portfolio
What We’re Looking For
- 10+ years’ experience in Australian business services / accounting
- Currently operating at Senior Manager, Associate Director or Director level, or ready to take that next step
- CA, CPA or equivalent qualification
- Strong technical grounding in accounting and business advisory
- Experience working with privately owned businesses, entrepreneurs and/or high-net-worth clients
- Strong client presence and confidence dealing with business owners, executives and Partners
- Demonstrated experience in business development, client growth or revenue generation
- Background with a Top 100 / mid-tier accounting firm preferred
- Commercially minded, relationship-focused and motivated by a pathway to Partnership
