Production Packers | Food Production & Fresh Produce Packing
AWX is currently seeking reliable and hardworking Production Packers to join busy food production facilities located in Brisbane's eastern suburbs. These roles offer ongoing work across both day and afternoon shifts, with opportunities for long-term employment for suitable candidates.
Working within a fast-paced food production environment, you will be responsible for the preparation, packing, inspection, and handling of fresh produce and food products ready for distribution.

About the Role:

• Packing fresh produce, meal components, and food products to strict quality standards
• Working on production and assembly lines preparing products for dispatch
• Conducting quality inspections and removing damaged or non-conforming products
• Labelling, weighing, sorting, and palletising finished goods
• Handling raw and prepared food products in temperature-controlled environments
• Following food safety, hygiene, and workplace health & safety procedures
• Meeting daily production targets while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
• Assisting with stock replenishment, cleaning, and general production duties
• Maintaining a clean and organised work area at all times

Working Environment:

• Cold room and temperature-controlled environments
• Handling fresh produce, prepared ingredients, and perishable food products
• Fast-paced production and packing lines
• Repetitive manual handling tasks
• Standing for extended periods throughout shifts
• Supportive team-based workplace

Shift Times:
Day Shift 5:00am starts
810 hour shifts

About You:

• Previous experience in food production, packing, process work, warehousing, manufacturing, or assembly line environments
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work to production targets
• Understanding of food safety and hygiene standards (highly regarded)
• Ability to work in refrigerated and cold room environments
• Good physical fitness and ability to perform repetitive tasks
• Reliable transport and excellent attendance record
• Strong communication skills and a positive attitude
• Availability for ongoing rostered shifts
