Dairy Business Manager

FRS Recruitment are now inviting applications for the role of Dairy Business Manager (ROI/UK), on behalf of our Client who are a leading supplier of automated dairy equipment.

· Location - Based in Ireland [National & International Travel Required]

· Reporting Into - Service Support Manager

· Hours - 37.5 hours per week

Summary:

The Dairy Business Manager function forms part of a regional cluster covering Ireland & the UK.

The successful candidate will work closely with local franchise partners, as well as the organisation’s international Head Office in the Netherlands. Service is considered an integral part of each proposition, and the regional team provides support to local franchise partners as part of the wider franchise structure.

The Role:

Local Franchises:

· Domain expert with the ‘Business Team Milking and Digital’ to support local franchises on their day to day service and support in a clear way.

· Ensure implementation around start up and support processes.

· Support the introduction of new products and support tools.

· Transfer of knowledge and development expertise at the local franchises.

· Development and improvement of support quality and customer satisfaction.

International (HQ):

· Transfer regional field knowledge back to International HQ and vice versa

· Provide constructive feedback on Business Team matters (products, training and service)

Main Tasks:

· Establish training and support to Advisors on the best use of products and propositions, using the internal training curriculum.

· Establish the needs of the advisors and the needs that come from the field, including mutual farm visits.

· Collaborates with International HQ upon request on the creation of training content

· Provides support to the Local franchises in resolving field queries

· Stakeholder Management

· Build local network of relevant business, knowledge and research partners

· Support external consultants (e.g. feeding advisors or veterinarians) for successful management.

Requirements:

· Extensive experience in the Dairy Sector

· Customer orientated and commercially driven

· Effective communication, presenting & training skills

· Strong analytical problem-solving skills

· Experienced at dealing with difficult situations calmly

· Willingness to travel [National and International]

· Good Planning and Organisational Skills

· Working knowledge of agricultural and or/machinery
