Acting as the technical bridge between engineering and on-site execution, you will play a key role in ensuring mechanical work packages are delivered safely, on programme, and within budget. You'll work closely with design, construction, procurement, and commercial teams across a fast-paced and complex project environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the development of construction programs, track daily progress, and manage resource allocation across mechanical work packages.
- Interpret mechanical drawings and erection docs to guide on-site work
- Plan labour, tools and materials for installation activities
- Manage procurement, budgets and cost efficiencies
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
- Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers and the client to resolve issues
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- 5-8 years' project engineering experience on large infrastructure or energy projects
- Confident reading technical drawings and understanding mechanical installation scope
- Ready to commit to a 5:2 roster or relocate to rural NSW
