We're partnering with a leading organisation seeking an experienced Senior Category & Contracts Specialist to drive strategic procurement and supplier management across a broad ICT portfolio.

- 12-month contract 
- Based in Perth
- Hydrid 3 days in office 2 days WFH 

About the Role

As the Senior Category & Contracts Specialist, you'll lead procurement and commercial activities across key ICT categories including:

• Managed Services
• Professional & Project Services
• Software Licensing
• Hardware & Technology Infrastructure
• Cloud & Digital Services

Working closely with business and technology leaders, you'll develop and execute category strategies that deliver value, reduce risk, optimise supplier performance, and support organisational objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead strategic sourcing, procurement and category management initiatives across ICT spend categories.
• Develop and execute category strategies that drive value, cost efficiencies and improved service outcomes.
• Manage end-to-end procurement activities, including tenders, contract negotiations and supplier selection processes.
• Build and maintain strong supplier relationships, ensuring performance, compliance and continuous improvement.
• Provide commercial advice and business partnering support to key stakeholders across the organisation.
• Identify opportunities to mitigate risk, improve governance and strengthen contract management practices.
• Monitor market trends and supplier capabilities to inform procurement strategies and decision-making.

You'll bring:

• Proven experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, category management, contracts or commercial management.
• Experience across ICT categories such as software, hardware, managed services, telecommunications, cloud or professional services.
• Demonstrated success negotiating and managing high-value, complex contracts.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills.
• Sound understanding of supplier governance, risk management and contract frameworks.
• Excellent commercial acumen with the ability to balance business needs, market capability and long-term value outcomes.
