About the role
An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Family Lawyer (Senior Associate or Special Counsel) with 5+ years’ PAE to join this close-knit and collaborative team. You will have the opportunity to work on a diverse range of family law matters, including divorce, property settlements, child custody and complex financial arrangements.
Work Arrangements
This role is ideally full-time, though flexible part-time arrangements (such as 4 days or school hours across 4–5 days) can be accommodated for the right candidate.

- Managing a varied caseload and delivering high-quality work within tight deadlines
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients
- Mentoring and supporting more junior members of the legal team
- 5+ years' post-admission experience in family law, ideally including time spent in a reputable family law firm/team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to empathise with clients during sensitive matters
- Strong negotiation and advocacy skills, with experience representing clients in court
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage a diverse caseload
- Commitment to continuing professional development and staying up-to-date with changes in family law
- Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to contribute to the growth and development of the family law practice
- LIV Specialist Accreditation in Family Law
- Master of Laws (Family Law)
