This is a 25-place service looking for their next Centre Director for a council service based in a town local to Wagga Wagga called Lockhart. Opening its doors from 7:30am to 5:30pm, Monday to Friday. This service strongly prioritises building and maintaining strong relationships with the parents and families of the children in the centre. This is an opportunity for you to create a fun and positive learning environment while also having the chance to shape the service culture. The Role
- Actively oversee the day-to-day operations of the service
- Ensure service is compliant with all service, state and NQS policies and legislations
- Create a fun, collaborative and stimulating environment for team members
- Creating and maintaining effective communication and partnerships with the families
- Mentoring team members to meet the standards and quality practices
- Ensuring a safe and healthy environment for all children, team and community
Role Requirements
- Certificate III, Diploma or Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (or ACECQA approved qualification)
- Prior experience within a leadership position
- Extensive knowledge of the EYLF and NQS frameworks
- Effective communication skills in order to collaborate with the team, families and community
- Thorough knowledge of early childhood policies and practices
