Talent Acquisition Specialist

Location: Atlanta, GA (Preferred)
Schedule: Initial onsite training for approximately 2 weeks, then flexible remote work schedule based on performance and readiness

Position Overview

Reporting to the Manager, Talent Acquisition, the Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for managing full-cycle recruiting efforts for an assigned employee population. This role serves as a strategic talent partner, working closely with HR leaders, hiring managers, and candidates throughout the entire recruitment lifecycle.

The ideal candidate will have experience supporting high-volume recruiting environments, preferably within supply chain, logistics, distribution, retail, or related industries. Strong sourcing capabilities, stakeholder management skills, and the ability to manage multiple requisitions simultaneously are essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities

Full-Cycle Recruiting

  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, offer management, and onboarding support.
  • Partner with hiring managers and HR leaders to understand workforce needs and develop ideal candidate profiles.
  • Create and maintain robust candidate pipelines through proactive sourcing strategies.
  • Review resumes and assess candidate qualifications against position requirements.
  • Conduct candidate prescreens and provide hiring managers with recommendations and interview feedback.
  • Guide hiring managers through the interview and selection process to ensure an efficient and positive hiring experience.

Sourcing & Talent Attraction

  • Develop diverse candidate pools through creative and data-driven sourcing techniques.
  • Identify and leverage new recruiting channels and talent communities.
  • Participate in diversity recruiting initiatives and talent attraction programs.
  • Serve as a brand ambassador, promoting client as an employer of choice to internal and external candidates.

Recruiting Operations

  • Maintain accurate candidate records and status updates within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
  • Ensure recruiting activities are documented and compliant throughout the hiring process.
  • Continuously identify opportunities to improve recruiting efficiency, candidate experience, and overall hiring outcomes.
  • Partner closely with HR and business leaders to support organizational talent acquisition goals.

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 2 years of full-cycle recruiting experience.
  • Experience supporting high-volume recruiting environments.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Experience utilizing Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Proven experience executing talent acquisition processes and recruiting strategies.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business, or a related field.
  • 3 years of full-cycle recruiting experience.
  • Experience recruiting for supply chain, logistics, distribution, retail, or related industries.
  • Workday recruiting experience.
  • SHRM-SCP or SPHR certification.
  • Familiarity with modern sourcing strategies and recruiting trends.
  • Experience partnering directly with business leaders and hiring managers on talent acquisition initiatives.
