A Global Enginerprise SAS is now looking for a Data Engineer to join its team.

Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, optimize, and maintain scalable database solutions and business applications.
- Develop, support, and enhance ETL workflows and cloud-based data integration solutions.
- Investigate and resolve technical, operational, and production-related issues through detailed analysis and troubleshooting.
- Analyse business requirements and propose scalable, efficient, and maintainable technical solutions.
- Develop automation tools and small-to-medium-scale applications using Python and Full Stack technologies.
- Ensure high system availability and provide timely resolution for production incidents and application issues.
- Take end-to-end ownership of change requests, including:
- Solution design
- Development and testing
- Deployment and implementation
- Post-production support
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and business users to ensure successful project delivery.
- Adhere to development standards, best practices, and quality processes to deliver reliable and maintainable solutions.

Required Skills:
- 10+ years of overall IT experience in software development, database technologies, cloud platforms, and production support environments.
- Strong expertise in PL/SQL development, including complex query writing, stored procedures, functions, packages, and performance tuning.
- Proficiency in Python programming for automation, scripting, backend development, and data processing solutions.
- Hands-on experience with AWS services such as AWS Glue, Amazon S3, and other cloud-based data integration and deployment services.
- Experience working with SQL-based databases and data warehousing platforms, including PostgreSQL, MySQL, and Amazon Redshift.
- Solid understanding of ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes and data pipeline development.
- Exposure to Full Stack Development with the ability to contribute across both frontend and backend technologies.
- Strong experience in Application Support and Production Support, including incident management, troubleshooting, monitoring, bug fixing, and root cause analysis.
- Familiarity with deployment processes, release management, and application support lifecycle activities.

Working Hours:   9:00 – 18:00 (Mon-Fri)
Working Style: Hybrid (4 days in office, 1 day work from home)
Holidays: Saturday, Sunday, and National Holidays, Year-end and New Year Holidays,  Paid Holidays (15-day annual paid leave and 6-day annual sick leave)
