We are seeking an experienced Cantonese-speaking .NET System Analyst to join the team supporting an AML / New Business System within the insurance environment.
This is a hands-on System Analyst role, with approximately 70–80% focused on technical development and system activities and 20–30% on system analysis, workflow documentation, and requirements-related activities.
Experience with Fiserv AML solutions is highly preferred. Candidates with strong hands-on experience in .NET, C#, and MS SQL, together with relevant AML system knowledge, will also be considered.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform system analysis, design, development, maintenance, and enhancement activities for the AML / New Business System.
- Lead and perform application development using Microsoft .NET and C#.
- Work with MS SQL for database development, queries, troubleshooting, and system support.
- Analyse business requirements and translate them into technical solutions and system specifications.
- Conduct feasibility studies for new requirements and assess their impact on existing systems.
- Prepare technical documentation, including requirements, technical specifications, workflows, and user manuals.
- Prepare and manage SIT/UAT test plans, test execution, defect tracking, and supporting documentation.
- Lead and perform system testing, implementation, support, maintenance, and enhancement activities.
- Work closely with business users, IT teams, vendors, and other stakeholders to clarify requirements and resolve system issues.
- Coordinate system deployment and implementation activities with relevant IT and user teams.
- Conduct user training and provide system support where required.
- Troubleshoot production issues and implement appropriate fixes and enhancements.
- Ensure system changes follow appropriate SDLC processes and quality standards.
- Perform ad-hoc system analysis and technical activities as required.
The Person
- University degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in Information Technology, with solid experience in system analysis and software development.
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft .NET and C#.
- Strong working knowledge of MS SQL.
- Experience designing, developing, testing, implementing, maintaining, and enhancing business applications.
- Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Experience working with AML systems, AML workflows, regulatory requirements, or compliance-related solutions is highly preferred.
- Experience with Fiserv AML solutions would be a strong advantage.
- Knowledge of life insurance products and business workflows is preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to understand existing systems quickly and work independently with limited transition support.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively with business users, technical teams, and vendors.
- Cantonese is required, with good communication skills in English. Mandarin is an advantage
