BI And Insights Manager

We’re looking for a BI And Insights Manager to lead the delivery of high-quality reporting, dashboards, and data-driven insights across services.

You’ll work closely with stakeholders to understand business needs, oversee data analysis and reporting, and ensure accessible, accurate, and actionable intelligence is used to support decision-making.

This is a full-time temporary role, Monday-Friday, 37 hours per week with potential for extension.

Key Responsibilities of the BI And Insights Manager role Includes:

• Lead the design and development of Power BI dashboards and performance reports
• Oversee the collection, linking, and analysis of data from multiple systems
• Manage and develop data models, reporting frameworks, and automation processes
• Translate complex data into clear insights, trends, and actionable recommendations
• Ensure data quality, governance, and consistency across all reporting outputs
• Work closely with stakeholders to define performance indicators and reporting requirements
• Identify opportunities to improve services through data analysis and insight
• Support the development of a robust, sustainable, and organisation-wide reporting environment
• Provide expert advice and guidance on data, reporting, and analytical approaches
• Lead or support a team of BI, Insight, and Data Analysts where required 

To be considered for the BI And Insights Manager role:

• Strong Power BI experience, including dashboard development and data visualisation
• Proven experience in business intelligence, reporting, and stakeholder engagement
• Experience with data modelling, data warehousing, and analytical tools (e.g. SQL)
• Strong analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail
• Ability to communicate complex insights to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
• Ability to work independently and lead on initiatives where required
• Previous public sector or local authority experience is desirable

Key Information about the BI And Insights Manager role Includes:

• Location: Friargate, Coventry (Hybrid – minimum 2 days onsite)
• £23.34 PAYE
• Full time Monday-Friday, 37 hours per week
