Role Summary

We are looking for an experienced Automation QA Engineer to join our AI Factory Squad and ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of AI-enabled digital products.

You will be responsible for developing automated testing frameworks, validating AI-driven functionality, and embedding quality engineering practices throughout the software development lifecycle. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in traditional test automation combined with knowledge of emerging AI testing methodologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated testing frameworks for web applications, APIs, and AI-enabled products.
• Create and execute functional, integration, regression, end-to-end, performance, and reliability tests.
• Validate AI-driven features, including model outputs, accuracy, consistency, bias, edge cases, and failure scenarios.
• Define test strategies, plans, scenarios, and acceptance criteria based on business and technical requirements.
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.
• Work closely with software engineers, AI/ML specialists, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure product quality.
• Identify, document, and track defects while supporting root-cause analysis and resolution.
• Develop reusable test scripts and tools to improve testing efficiency and coverage.
• Perform API, database, and data validation across systems and third-party integrations.
• Monitor test results and provide clear quality metrics and insights to the squad.
• Promote quality engineering standards and continuous improvement across the delivery lifecycle.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Automation QA Engineer, SDET, or in a similar position.
• Strong experience designing and maintaining automated testing frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium, or similar.
• Proficiency in at least one programming or scripting language, such as Python, Java, JavaScript, or TypeScript.
• Experience testing RESTful APIs using Postman, REST Assured, or equivalent tools.
• Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Good knowledge of software testing methodologies, quality engineering principles, and the software development lifecycle.
• Experience with SQL and database validation.
• Understanding of testing considerations for AI or machine learning applications, including non-deterministic outputs, accuracy, bias, and performance.
• Familiarity with Agile delivery environments and cross-functional squad structures.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
